by airPadua is served by two international airports: Venice (Marco Polo; VCE) and Treviso (Antonio Canova; TSF), situated about 35 and 38 km away, respectively.
Regular bus lines (at very reasonable prices) connect both airports to Padua. The trip lasts about an hour and timetables are available here. The closest stop is "Padova Fiera" and is practically outside the NH Mantegna (where all attendants from out of town will lodge) and the Vallisneri complex (where the scientific sessions will take place); see also the map available above. If taking one of these buses, we recommend telling the driver in advance where you wish to get off.
Alternative shuttle services are also available, at a slightly higher cost. These take about 30-45 minutes from Venice and about 50 minutes from Treviso. For costs and booking procedures, please follow this link.
by trainPadua lies on one of Italy's main railway lines, with easy connections to major hubs such as Milan and Bologna. For exact costs and timetables, follow this link. The railway station is within walking distance (5-10 minutes) of the meeting venue: outside the station, simply follow the signs to "Fiera".
by carFor those travelling by car, the two motorways serving Padua are the A4 and the A13. Independently of the direction from which you arrive, we recommend taking the "Padova Est" exit and following the signs to "Fiera".
